Box office report: Christopher Nolan's movie is expected to have an amazing first day in India; can it match MI 7's $12.50 million debut?

Christopher Nolan's film is expected to generate a significant amount of hype on its opening day in India given that advance booking has hit its greatest level to date.

This Friday, the films "Openheimer" by Christopher Nolan, starring Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie, and "Barbie" by Greta Gerwig will be released in theaters. Early box office projections for Christopher Nolan's movie point to a tremendous haul despite the continuous promotions of the two Hollywood movies "Barb and Openheimer." About Oppenheimer:

Openheimer is based on the Lives of Kai bird and Martin J. Sherwin, the "Father of Atomic age" and an American Theoritical Physicist. It stars Emily Blunt and Robert Pattinson in addition to Cillian Murphy as the title role. The cast also includes Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, and Robert Downey Jr.

According to a report by 123Telugu.com, Openheimer is expected to bring in between 10 and 15 crores at the box office on its opening day in India. It will be interesting to see if Openheimer tops the nearly 12.50 crores that Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One made on its opening day in India.

Openheimer's early sales in India began a week ago, ten days after the movie's advance bookings did. 

The movie has already sold 90,000 tickets across the three multiplex chains, PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, according to statistics provided by a film trade analyst. This also applies to IMAX displays.

In a recent interview, Christopher Nolan discussed publicly producing the movie Openheimer. He remarked, "I considered going there and keeping the audience with these people since they had to make these awful decisions that shaped the society we live in... It was a significant dramatic occurrence that was shared with Reuters in order to draw the viewers in.

In contrast, Barbie, which has already begun taking reservations in advance, is off to a strong start and sold about 16,000 seats in multiplex chains on the first day.

In the movie Barbie, Ryan Gosling plays Ken and Margot Robbie plays Barbie. America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Dua Lipa, Emerald Fennell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, and Will Ferrell are among the other actors in the cast.

The premise of the movie is as follows: "After being expelled from Utopian Barbie Land for not being perfect, Barbie and Ken embark on a journey of self-discovery in the real world."
