The JioBook, which boasts an 11-inch HD display and an octa-core CPU, is being lauded as the nation's "first learning book." 

The JioBook will be available for sale for 16,499 starting on August 5 through Reliance Digital's online and physical locations as well as Amazon.in.

Specification And Features

The JioBook runs on JioOS, the business's in-house cutting-edge operating system. It has a user-friendly UI, 75+ keyboard shortcuts, trackpad motions, screen extension, wireless printing, and multi-tasking screens, coupled with 4G-LTE and dual-band WiFi capabilities. JioOS also includes built-in chatbot capability, access to educational content via the Jio TV app, and top gaming software via JioCloudGames.

A noteworthy feature is JioBIAN, which offers a “ready coding environment,” enabling students to learn coding in languages like C/C++, Java, Python, and Pear.

Design

The JioBook has a modern matte finish and an incredibly slim chassis that weighs just 990 grams. It has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 64GB of storage space, which can be expanded to 256GB via a micro SD card. A huge multi-gesture touchpad, an Infinity keyboard, and built-in USB and HDMI connectors are all included with the laptop.

Battery

The actual battery capacity is yet unknown, but according to Jio, the laptop may run for up to 8 hours on a single charge. The JioBook comes with an HD webcam with stereo sound for video conferencing and communication.
